Chinese Arts Centre stages exhibitions of contemporary visual arts from a broad variety of media; areas include architecture, design, fashion, installation, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and video as well as cross art form work. The exhibition programme consists of a combination of solo and group shows.

Chinese Arts Centre is keen to work in collaboration with other arts organisations and venues in order to develop projects. We also aim to tour exhibitions nationally and internationally.

Our exhibitions regularly change; please note that the gallery may be closed during installation periods. We strongly advise you to contact the centre for confirmation of dates of exhibitions as they may be subject to change.

For further information on the exhibition programme or exhibitions available to tour please contact the curator at exhibition@chinese-arts-centre.org

First Step Exhibition Space

First Step has been set up with the intention of supporting the work of artists of Chinese Descent who work either 2 dimensionally or whose work can be wall mounted. First Step fills the need for a dedicated space to present the work of emerging artists whose work would not benefit from taking part in our residency schemes.
